Canopy Trove Community Guidelines
Canopy Trove is for lawful storefront discovery and useful storefront feedback. Reviews, community photos, and reports must stay honest, specific, and safe.

- photos you personally took of a storefront, product packaging, or a lawful purchase
- useful corrections about storefront details
- civil disagreement about a storefront experience
Photos And Media
When member photo uploads are available in Canopy Trove, the same community standards apply to photos, GIFs, and other media.
- only upload photos you personally took or otherwise have the right to share
- keep photos tied to storefront context, product packaging, or a real customer visit
- do not upload copied brand ads, menu screenshots, or images taken from other sites or feeds
- do not post IDs, receipts with private details, medical information, or verification documents
- do not post minors, faces without consent, or imagery showing cannabis consumption
- community photos are not a substitute for owner-controlled promotional placements
Not Allowed
- threats, harassment, hate speech, or sexual content
- instructions for unlawful conduct
- spam, duplicate reviews, rating flooding, or report flooding
- impersonation of staff, owners, or other users
- posting private information, IDs, phone numbers, medical data, or upload documents
- posting copyrighted or promotional media you do not have the right to share
- posting content that is false, defamatory, or clearly manipulative
Moderation Controls
Canopy Trove currently supports:
- storefront reporting
- local blocking of review authors
- manual review workflows for storefront reports
- manual owner-claim and verification review queues
Enforcement
Canopy Trove may hide, remove, reject, or escalate content that violates these guidelines. Owner verification and storefront reports are intended to move through a manual review path with documented status changes.
If a storefront, brand, photographer, or user believes a photo or other media should be removed for privacy, copyright, trademark, or safety reasons, they can contact support for review.
